Goodies – March 19:

• No secondary containment for hazardous fluids and large quantity on site.

• There is an oil water separator for part of the yard but back part of yard drains to river – adjacent creek is habitat for the Salish sucker

• Observed crushing unprocessed vehicle at crusher – antifreeze spilled to ground

• No information on Mercury switches;

• No capacity to remove refrigerants

Reasonable processing area so he has the capacity to follow CAREC.  Left information on mercury switches and copy of Canadian Auto Recyclers Environmental Code.
